I am a cartoonist who specializes in humorous illustration and single panel gag cartoons. I draw the cartoon strip Pet Peeves, which was distributed nationally by Gannett Company's "More Content Now" news service to its network of more than 600 publications, including 125 daily newspapers, along with over 520 affiliated news sites. My previous comic strip, Grey Matter, was published in approximately 100 weekly newspapers in the U.S. and Canada. I also co-host the comic strip and cartooning podcast, Strip Search. And I am a proud member of the National Cartoonists Society.
www.davelondon.com is where I display my portfolio and answer your questions. I like to think of my work as "Cartoon Art." I will custom design a cartoon or illustration for your business or personal needs, whether that be in a magazine, newspaper, online, in a book, on a T-shirt, for an advertisement, business cards, postcards, office presentations, retirement gifts, holiday gifts, or any number of infinite possibilities.
My cartoons have been published in magazines, newspapers, and online. I have also been commissioned by people and entities for personalized cartoons. This is a partial client list:

Contact me at 617-852-2035 to discuss your cartoon needs. I will quote you a price and explain my work process to you. In short, I will brainstorm with you to create ideas, provide you with sketches of the preliminary product for your approval (where you have the opportunity to comment and make changes), and then, once you give me the go-ahead, I begin work on the final product.
Lately I've been working mostly in electronic media (drawing and coloring on my iPad Pro using Procreate and Comic Draw). When I draw and color originals by hand, I use basic pencils for sketching and Sakura Pigma Micron markers or PITT artist pens for inking. For coloring, I like to use Blick Studio Brush Markers. I use Bristol Board or illustration board when I need a heavier surface, but I also draw my gag cartoons on cheap photocopier paper. Really, it all depends on the specific project and what I feel like using at the time. If you have a preference, just let me know.
Absolutely! You can reach me on my studio line at 617-852-2035 or email me. I'm happy to answer all your questions (for free!).
